I chose Elaf Bakkah Hotel for its proximity to Masjid al-Haram, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient amenities such as complimentary wireless Internet access and the coffee shop with a nice ambience.
Some receptionist service issues.

Great facilities, good AC, free transportation to the main attraction, fantastic breakfast options.
Felt really good, no complaints at all.
